Biography of Josie Maran

Josie Maran is an American model and actress. She was born in Menlo Park, California, to a Russian-Polish father and a mother of German and French descent. Her name is also well known in association with the cosmetic company Maybelline.

Early Career as a Model

Josie began her modeling career at the age of 12, working at a nearby restaurant. She pursued modeling more seriously after completing high school. Starting at the age of 17, she signed with a prestigious modeling agency in Los Angeles. By 1998, she had already graced the cover of the popular magazine Glamour and won the titles of "Girl of Summer" and "Girl of Fall" for that year. She also appeared in numerous music videos and advertising campaigns, including one with the popular group Backstreet Boys.

Move to New York and Personal Life

After achieving success in the southern part of the country, Josie decided to make a move to the northern part, specifically New York, in 1999. However, it is worth mentioning that she is bisexual, according to her statement on the Howard Stern show.

Transition to Acting

Not content with just her modeling career, Josie ventured into acting in 2001.
