Youth Career and Early Professionalism

Josip Knezevic's football journey began at the Osijek youth academy. He spent two years honing his skills before signing a professional contract with the same club.

Osijek Years

For two seasons, Knezevic represented Osijek in the Croatian league. During his time there, he made 37 appearances and scored 6 goals.

Departure from Osijek

Upon the expiration of his contract, Knezevich sought a new challenge. During the winter transfer window, he received offers from Amkar and Moskva.

Amkar Acquisition

Initially, Knezevic seemed poised to join Moskva. However, financial issues forced the Moscow club to decline his signing. As a result, Knezevic inked a four-year contract with Amkar.
