Early Career and Rise to Prominence
Júcilei Da Silva, a Brazilian footballer, started his professional career at the Brazilian club Ulbra. Soon after, he moved to Malucelli (now known as Coritiba Paranáense), where he caught the attention of Corinthians coach Mano Menezes. In 2009, Júcilei joined the renowned Corinthians.
Debut and Success at Corinthians
As a young player at Corinthians, Júcilei quickly became a part of the starting lineup. On May 10, 2009, he made his debut for the club against Internacional. Establishing himself as a pivotal midfielder, he played 101 official matches for Corinthians, scoring 6 goals.
Move to Russia and International Debut
Júcilei's performance at Corinthians drew the interest of Russian Premier League club Anzhi. In February 2011, he underwent a medical examination and signed a 4-year contract with the club.
On July 26, 2010, Júcilei made his international debut for Brazil under former Corinthians manager Mano Menezes, who had become the national team's head coach. Brazil defeated the United States 2-0 in their first match featuring Júcilei. He then played his second game for Brazil on November 18, when the team lost 0-1 to Argentina in a heated rivalry match.
