Biography of Giuliano Di Capua
Giuliano Di Capua is an actor in theater and film, as well as a musician. He was born in Zurich, Switzerland, and is of Swiss-Italian descent. His father owns his own restaurant, which sparked his love for food and culture.

In 1991, Giuliano graduated from the Zurich Arts Lyceum, and then went on to study Arabic poetry from the 8th and 9th centuries at Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. However, after two years in Cairo and two years in Damascus, he felt a sense of emptiness and longing for something more.

Giuliano remembers his father's words about Russia being a good place, and he was also influenced by the performances of renowned mime artist Vyacheslav Polunin. With these factors in mind, he decided to travel to Russia. Initially, he arrived in Moscow but soon moved to St. Petersburg. There, he enrolled in the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts under the guidance of Benjamin Filshinsky, graduating in 2000.

During his time at the academy, Giuliano performed in several plays, including "Uncle Vanya," for which he won the "Muse of St. Petersburg-2000" award for his role as Voynitsky. After graduating, he joined the "Shelter of the Comedian" theater, where he played the role of Julio in the play "The Venetian Woman." He also performed in the "Mansion" theater in the play "Bam-bam-bam."

Currently, Giuliano is a member of the Theater on Liteiny, where he has appeared in various productions such as "Capriccio," "Oedipus Rex," "The Servant of Two Masters," and "Antigone."
In addition to his theater work, Giuliano has also ventured into the world of film and television. He made his film debut in 2000 and has since appeared in movies such as "Christmas Mystery," "Red Streptocide," and "Four Taxi Drivers and a Dog." He has also acted in popular TV series such as "Cobra," "Investigation Secrets," and "Deadly Force."
Aside from his acting career, Giuliano is also a talented musician. He has performed as a solo bandoneonist in various concerts, including those at the Smolny Cathedral and St. Petersburg Philharmonic. He has also toured Europe with his ensemble, Remolino. Furthermore, Giuliano has worked as a television presenter on the "STO" channel.
In 2003, Giuliano made his directorial debut in the Russian Drama Theater with the play "The Vagina Monologues" by Eve Ensler. He expresses his love for living and working in St. Petersburg and met his love, Ilona Markarova, who is a television presenter on the "STO" channel. They got married in the summer of 2004.
