Biography of Julia Slobodina

Julia Slobodina, a renowned DJ of the 'Shanson' radio station, had a unique journey that brought her into the world of radio broadcasting. She was born and raised in Voroshilovgrad, a city that no longer exists on the map and was renamed Lugansk. She even used her linguistic skills to teach her younger brother.

After completing her schooling, which was marked by her early ability to recite the first lesson of the year, Julia discovered her passion for radio. In 1996, she stumbled upon the opportunity to join the first FM station in her city, 'Skyway'. Despite initial hesitations from the station's editor, Julia was given a chance to prove herself and was granted a three-hour radio slot. Overcoming her nervousness, she embraced the opportunity and soon became an integral part of the radio community.

In 1998, Julia left 'Skyway' and joined her colleagues at 'Echo' 105.5 FM, where she continued to thrive in her career. It was here that she met her future husband, who would become an essential part of her life. In 2002, they tied the knot, marking one of the happiest days of Julia's life.

Throughout her career, Julia also had a brief stint as a television presenter on the local channel, 'Efir-1'. Although her time on television was cut short when the channel closed down, she remains open to the possibility of resuming her television career if the opportunity arises.

In August 2001, 'Echo' underwent a transformation and became 'Shanson', a music style that Julia had to defend against skeptics who questioned her taste. As a patriot of her city, she also supports the local music group NLO. In 2001, Julia enrolled in the Institute of Culture and Arts at the T.G. Shevchenko Lugansk State Pedagogical University, specializing in film, television, and art.

Outside of her career, Julia has a few dislikes, such as noisy parties, loud music, intrusive conversations, being away from home for too long, early mornings, washing dishes, and incorrectly stressed words. On the other hand, she loves heartfelt conversations by candlelight, cartoons, beer, genuine people, dreaming, New Year celebrations, giving gifts, being loved, and, most importantly, her husband. She also finds great joy in seeing others doing well.

Julia Slobodina's journey from a graduate ball to a successful radio career has been full of surprises and unexpected opportunities. With her passion for radio and dedication to her craft, she continues to navigate the waves of the broadcasting world.
