Early Life and Education

Born in Slovakia, the poet and educator graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at Bratislava University, specializing in education issues. He authored nine monographs primarily focusing on vocational education and workforce training.

Government Service

From 2001 to 2002, he served as Head of the Department of International Cooperation and European Integration within the Slovak Ministry of Education. In 2002, he was appointed Director of the Slovak Institute in Moscow, concurrently serving as the Cultural Counselor at the Slovak Embassy in Russia.

Poetic Publications

As a poet, he published several collections of verse, including "Flax" (1981), "Valley of Bees" (2001), and "Prayer with You" (2003, with parallel text in Russian). His cinematic short story, "Siberian Quixote and Skinners" (2003), was released as a separate publication in both Slovak and Russian translations.
