Early Life and Club Career
Juraj Kucka(born February 26, 1987) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Turkish club Trabzonspor and the Slovakia national team.
MŠK Prievidza and Šport Podbrezová
Kucka began his professional career with Šport Podbrezová in 2007.MŠK Ružomberok
In 2007, he joined Ružomberok, where he spent two seasons.
AC Sparta Prague
In January 2009, Kucka moved to AC Sparta Prague, signing a three-year contract.
Genoa C.F.C.
On January 2, 2011, Genoa purchased Kucka for approximately €3 million.
Inter Milan
In August 2011, Genoa sold half of the rights to Kucka to Inter Milan for €8 million. As part of a player exchange between the two clubs, Kucka signed a contract with Inter until June 30, 2016. However, he remained on loan at Genoa for the 2011/12 season.
Trabzonspor
After a successful loan spell with Parma, Kucka joined Trabzonspor in 2021.
International Career
Kucka made his debut for the Slovakia national team in 2008. He has represented his country at three major tournaments: the 2010 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2016, and UEFA Euro 2020.
