Biography of Justin Kirk
Justin Kirk is an American theater, film, and television actor. He was born on May 28, 1969, in Salem, Oregon, USA. From a very young age, Justin Kirk was confident that he would become an actor. At the age of seven, he started performing in plays at a local theater college in Salem. When Justin turned twelve, his family moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he attended a children's theater school. After finishing high school, Justin moved to New York and pursued higher education.
Broadway Debut
Justin's first job on Broadway was a role in the play "Any Given Day" staged at the Longacre Theatre. Following a successful debut in "Any Given Day," Justin Kirk received an invitation to play the lead role in the play "Love! Valor! Compassion!" in 1994.
Television and Film Career
Justin's television debut took place in 1995 when he had a small role in the drama series "New York News" broadcasted on the CBS channel. His first major film role was as Bobby Brahms in the romantic comedy-drama "Love! Valor! Compassion!" directed by Joe Mantello in 1997. This film was an adaptation of the play in which Justin had previously played in 1994. The role of Bobby Brahms, both in the play and in the film, is considered one of Justin's best works and the one that made him popular.
