Early Life and Education
Justin Jacob Long, an American actor, was born in 1978 in Fairfield, Connecticut. He was raised in a family with strong Catholic traditions. Both of his parents, Wendy and R. James Long, were involved in the theater. Justin attended the famous Vassar College, known for producing some of the best comedic actors. During his time at Vassar, he was a member of the college's comedy troupe, Laughingstock.

Early Career
Justin Long's first appearances in film came in the late 1990s. In 1999, he appeared in the sci-fi action film "Galaxy Quest" and several TV series. In 2001, Long landed a slightly larger role in the comedy film "Happy Campers" directed by Daniel Waters. That same year, he obtained the lead role in the highly acclaimed thriller "Jeepers Creepers" directed by Victor Salva. The film follows a group of teenagers being hunted by an unstoppable force, and the old song "Jeepers Creepers" takes on a new horrifying meaning. Long also appeared in the sequel to the film in 2003.
