The Record Breaker

On December 23, 2008, Kanchana set another record by holding a scorpion in her mouth for 2 minutes and 1.8 seconds. Her husband, Bunthawee Siengwong, served as the official timekeeper. However, the title of Scorpion Queen was not given to Kanchana for consuming scorpions.

Unusual Talents

In 2002, Kanchana set her first record by spending 32 consecutive days in a glass cube with 3400 scorpions. Her husband, Bunthawee, also shares a similar passion for these creatures. Known as the Centipede King, he spent 28 days in a cage with 1000 centipedes.

Love and Marriage

Kanchana and Bunthawee met at a resort where they both showcased their unique talents with reptiles. Their shared interests quickly brought them closer, and they decided to get married. Their wedding was a spectacle, with Kanchana wearing a white wedding dress adorned with fifteen scorpions, while Bunthawee opted for a ghost costume with a centipede crawling out of his mouth.

Continuing to Break Records

Their wedding ceremony took place in Phatthaya, where Kanchana set her most recent record. However, she has no plans to stop there. She is currently planning to break her own record from 2002 by spending 33 days in a cube with 5000 scorpions. It is possible that she may also attempt to break her record of holding a live scorpion in her mouth, but she has not revealed her intentions yet.
