Early Life and Career

Kara Saun is an American fashion designer who gained recognition through her participation in the reality show "Project Runway." She finished as the runner-up in the first season of the show, which aimed to identify the best couturier among the participants. Before joining "Project Runway," Saun worked as a costume designer for the sitcom "Eve" on the UPN network. She also worked on Queen Latifah's talk show, creating a new image for the host and designing dresses for her red carpet appearances at the Oscars.
