Biography of Karen Nyberg
Karen Nyberg is an American female astronaut who participated in the STS-124 mission. She was born on October 7, 1969 in Parker's Prairie, Minnesota, USA.
Education
Karen completed her secondary education in Hennings, Minnesota in 1988. She then attended the University of North Dakota, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. She further pursued her studies at Texas Tech University, earning a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1996. In 1998, Karen completed her Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
