Karl Wendlinger's Formula 1 journey began with March (Leyton House) in 1991-1992. He then switched to Sauber from 1993-1995, where he achieved three notable fourth-place finishes and a 12th place finish in the 1993 Drivers' Championship. However, Wendlinger's F1 career took a tragic turn in the 1994 Monaco Grand Prix when he was involved in a severe accident.
