Helena Werner: Paralympic Champion and World Record Holder

Helena Werner is a Polish Paralympic athlete who competes in long jump and other athletic events. She is a multiple Paralympic medalist, world champion, and European champion.

Early Life and Career

Werner was born in Dombrówka, Poland. She began her athletic career at the age of 13, focusing on long jump and short-distance running. She competes in the T20 category, which is for athletes with intellectual impairments.

Paralympic Success

Werner made her international debut in 2007 and has since achieved remarkable success at the Paralympic Games. In 2012, she won the gold medal in long jump at the London Paralympics. She also captured silver in the same event at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
