From Amish Two-Room to Modeling
Kate Stoltz was born and raised in the state of Pennsylvania in the Amish community. Her childhood was spent in the strict and ascetic environment of this religious community, known worldwide for their way of life that rejects all modern conveniences. The Amish live without electricity, cars, television, internet, and other aspects of civilization. Kate, along with her siblings, parents, and relatives, would have likely lived her entire life in a bonnet and baggy blue dress if it hadn't been for her spirit of protest and the natural beauty she possessed.

Early Life and Work
From a young age, Kate worked extensively, as farming is a way of life for the Amish. She learned to gather hay, feed and milk cows, cook simple meals, clean the house, and care for younger siblings. While her peers were just waking up, Kate had already completed a multitude of household chores. Although there was no electronic technology in her home, it seemed that everyone in the community didn't even notice. Only Kate, as she grew older, dreamt of a different life.

The Breaking Amish Show
In 2012, Kate's opportunity for a different life presented itself when she appeared on the television show "Breaking Amish." Instead of returning to the community, she chose to stay in the city. Following the show, representatives from the modeling agency "Major Model Management" approached her, and soon enough, she signed a contract with them. Who would have thought that a modest Amish girl would grace the pages of "Maxim" magazine? Nevertheless, it happened, and one can only hope that Kate's parents and community members never stumble upon these photos of her posing in lingerie. Despite the strict rules, Kate still maintains occasional communication with her parents, although not as frequently as before. She has already decided to become the first girl from their community to obtain a university degree, and she dreams of having a giant billboard in Times Square featuring her photograph. Perhaps her father, a priest in the community church, would say that this will lead her straight to hell, but Kate is no longer sure if she is afraid of that.

The Future
Being a model is arguably the most unworthy occupation from the perspective of the Amish, but Kate tried it and found it fascinating and interesting. Regardless, 23-year-old Kate Stoltz still deeply loves her parents, and they, in turn, hope that their daughter will come to her senses and return. Whether Kate will return, disillusioned by the life of the fashion runways, to the quiet rural life of the Amish, only time will tell. In the meantime, she has truly grand plans for her future.
