Catherine Grant was born on November 25, 1933, in West Columbia, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1955 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her talent in beauty pageants led her to Hollywood in 1954.

Catherine's acting career included films such as "The Phenix City Story" (1955), "The Twinkle of an Eye" (1956), "The Brothers Rico" (1957), "Mister Cory" (1957), "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad" (1958), and "Anatomy of a Murder" (1959).

Marriage and Family

In 1957, Catherine married legendary singer and actor Bing Crosby. The 30-year age difference did not hinder their relationship. They had three children: Harry (born 1958), Mary Frances (born 1959), and Nathaniel (born 1961).

Catherine retired from acting after her marriage, focusing on her family. Their union lasted 20 years until Bing Crosby's untimely death in Spain in 1977.
