Personal Life and Interests
Katie Cassidy is known for her tattoos. She currently has four tattoos: one on her thigh, one on her calf, one on her ankle, and one in the middle of her back. Her first tattoo, on her thigh, represents the number "1922", which is her maternal grandmother's birth year. The tattoo on her leg consists of three stars, symbolizing Katie and her two sisters, Jamie and Jenna, who also have identical tattoos. Their mother, Sherry, has a tattoo symbolizing the three star-daughters, with the stars radiating from the center of the mother star.
The tattoo on Katie's left ankle is in the form of a ring made up of three phrases: "Love Yourself," "Know Yourself," and "Be Yourself". On her back, she has a Latin expression "Alis Volat Propiis", which means "She flies with her own wings". Katie explained that she chose this phrase because, despite the love and support of her family, she wants to choose her own path and achieve her goals using her own strength and talent.
