Katrina Bowden is an American actress best known for her roles as Britney Jennings in the soap opera "One Life to Live" and Cerie in the television series "30 Rock".
Early Life and Education
Katrina Bowden was born on September 19, 1988, in Wyckoff, New Jersey. She attended Midland Park High School in Midland Park, New Jersey, and later studied in Washington, Bergen County, New Jersey.
Career
Bowden began her acting career in 2005 when she appeared in the music video for Fall Out Boy's song "Dance, Dance". Her breakthrough role came in 2006 when she was cast as Britney Jennings in the soap opera "One Life to Live". She also made a guest appearance on the popular American detective series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" in the same year.
However, Bowden's most successful television role to date came in 2006 when she was cast as Cerie in the comedy series "30 Rock" on NBC. The show premiered on October 11, 2006, and Bowden was eventually promoted to a main cast member from the second season onwards.
In 2008, Bowden had a supporting role in the film "Sex Drive" and in 2009, she appeared in the horror film "Shortcut". In 2010, she landed the lead female role in the comedy horror film "Tucker & Dale vs Evil" and also appeared in an episode of the comedy series "Ugly Betty".
In April 2011, Bowden was named the "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire Magazine. She has since appeared in several films, including "American Reunion" and "Piranha 3DD". In late 2011, Bowden became the face of the advertising campaign for Jordache.
Personal Life
On January 28, 2012, Bowden got engaged to musician Ben Jorgensen. The couple had been dating for two years at that point.
