Early Life and Education
Kelly Doton was born on February 2, 1982, in Greenfield, Massachusetts. She began playing field hockey at age 12 after excelling in ice hockey. Doton attended Greenfield High School before enrolling at Wake Forest University.
Field Hockey Career
Doton joined USA Field Hockey's Futures Program in 2000 and quickly established herself as one of the country's most promising players. She competed in numerous tournaments, including the Rabobank Champions Challenge Virginia Beach (2005), World Cup Qualifier Rome (2006), World Cup Madrid (2007), and XV Pan American Games Rio de Janeiro (2007).
Doton is currently a defender for the United States national team and is affectionately known as "Dote." She has participated in several major competitions, including the 2008 Olympics.
Personal Life
Doton is known for her love of sports, including not only field hockey but also ice hockey and other activities. She is an optimist who remains positive and resilient in the face of challenges. Doton has a twin brother whom she adores and supports.
