Early Life and Education

Ken Jennings was born on May 23, 1974, in Edmonds, Washington. From 1981 to 1992, he lived in Seoul, South Korea, and from 1992 to 1996, he resided in Singapore. His father was an attorney for Oracle Corporation. Jennings graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in computer science and English.

Missionary Service and Political Affiliation

Jennings served a mission in Madrid, Spain, from 1993 to 1995. He is reportedly a member of the Democratic Party, which is somewhat at odds with the teachings of his church.

Family Life

Jennings currently resides near Seattle, Washington. He is married to Mindy and has two children, Dylan (born 2003) and Caitlin (born 2006).
