Biography of Kerry Katona
Kerry Katona, an English TV presenter, pop singer, actress, and writer, made a career in entertainment television, particularly excelling in the realm of reality shows. She can be considered a professional reality show participant. She was a vocalist in the girl group 'Atomic Kitten', a columnist in magazines, and even the author of several books, including an autobiography and a series of novels, with the help of co-author Fanny Blake. Katona appeared in television commercials, particularly for supermarkets 'Iceland' and 'Asda'.

In the eighth season of the reality show 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2011, Katona placed second, losing to bare-knuckle boxer Paddy Doherty. Kerry Katona was born on September 6, 1980, in Warrington, England. Katona is a Hungarian surname. For a while, she was raised by her mother, Sue Katona, and then by her stepfather, adoptive grandmother, and others. She was placed under the care of the state during her childhood and lived in four foster families. During this time, she attended eight different schools.

Kerry dropped out of school at the age of sixteen to become a stripper. She then joined a dance group that toured Europe. Katona attempted to become a glamour model as a teenager and posed for explicit photographs. In 2001, some of these photographs resurfaced and were published in the British tabloid 'The Sunday Sport'.

In 1999, an eighteen-year-old Katona became one of the lead singers of the girl pop trio 'Atomic Kitten', which was gaining its first successes at the time. Their singles finally entered the charts, and their debut album reached 39th place on the national charts. The group was incredibly popular in Asia. Katona left the group in January 2001 due to pregnancy and the dislike of constant traveling, which was unavoidable in their touring life. She was replaced by Jenny Frost, and just a few days later, the song 'Whole Again' became a national hit, reaching the top of the charts.
After marrying the father of her child, former 'Westlife' pop group member Brian McFadden, Katona switched to television. She appeared in and hosted many popular shows at the time, including 'Britain's Sexiest...', 'Loose Women', and 'Elimidate'. In February 2004, she won the third season of the reality show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'. In July, she and her husband served as judges on the talent show 'You're a Star'. In September 2004, Katona and McFadden separated, and she returned to her maiden name.
Her resume then included shows such as 'My Fair Kerry', 'Showbands', 'Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love', 'Kerry Katona: Whole Again', 'Kerry Katona: What's the Problem?', 'Kerry Coming Clean', 'Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter', 'Dancing on Ice', and 'Big Brother House'.
In August 2009, the company 'Iceland', for which Katona appeared in supermarket commercials, terminated her £290,000 contract, stating that it was impossible to continue the partnership after leaked photos, especially those showing Kerry using cocaine in her bathroom, appeared in the press. On the other hand, Katona supports the charitable organization 'The Shannon Bradshaw Trust', which helps children in difficult life situations.
Kerry Katona has four children. Two daughters, Molly Marie McFadden and Lilly-Sue McFadden, were born in 2001 and 2003, respectively, from her marriage to Brian McFadden. They married in January 2002, separated in September 2004, and finalized their divorce in December 2006. On February 14, 2007, Katona married taxi driver Mark Croft, and they had two more children, daughter Heidi Elizabeth Croft in 2007 and son Maxwell Mark Croft in 2008. She was constantly criticized for smoking and drinking alcohol during her pregnancies.
In the summer of 2007, Kerry learned that she was suffering from bipolar disorder. The following year, she started facing huge financial problems, declared bankruptcy in court, and consecutively lost her job, contracts, and home, for which she hadn't paid for many months, ultimately deciding to divorce her husband. However, the couple reconciled and finally divorced in 2011.
