Early Career and Move to Preston North End

Kevin Kilbane, an Irish footballer, was born in Preston, England, and developed a passion for the sport at a young age. Following a loan spell at Huddersfield Town in 2011, he joined Derby County on another loan. In 2012, after his contract with Hull City expired, Kilbane signed a one-year deal with Coventry City. He retired from professional football at the end of the 2012-13 season.

International Career

Kilbane made his debut for the Republic of Ireland national team in 1997. He was a key member of the squad that reached the round of 16 at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan and South Korea. Kilbane earned 110 caps for Ireland, becoming the third most-capped player in the team's history. He scored eight goals for his country, including a memorable strike against the Czech Republic in 2006.

Post-Football Career
