Early Career
Nabyl Abdella, a Dutch footballer currently playing as a midfielder and forward for Torres in Italy, began his footballing journey with Amsterdam's Ajax. However, he failed to break into the first team.
England and Beyond
In 2000, Abdella made the move to England, joining Ipswich Town. Over the next four years, he only made six appearances for the team, with his debut coming on February 24, 2001, in a 2-0 victory over Everton. A loan spell at Northampton Town in 2004 was followed by further stints with lower league English clubs Heybridge Swifts and Clacton. He then returned to the Netherlands to play for Almere.
Sweden and Italy
In 2008, Abdella signed with Swedish second division club Västerbergs. He made eight league appearances for them but failed to score. In late August 2009, he went on trial with Italian Serie C2 club Torres and eventually signed a contract.
