Early Career

Kevin Trapp, a German footballer, began his career in 2005 at Kaiserslautern's youth academy. He joined the club's second team in 2008, impressing as a goalkeeper trained by renowned coach Gerald Ehrmann.

Debut and Bundesliga Breakthrough

In 2010, Trapp was promoted to Kaiserslautern's first team. He made his debut in the German Cup in 2008 and the Bundesliga in 2011, establishing himself as the club's starting goalkeeper during the 2011/2012 season.

Move to Eintracht Frankfurt

After Kaiserslautern's relegation, Trapp joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2012. He quickly became a regular starter, despite injury setbacks. During the 2012/2013 season, he played in all 34 Bundesliga matches and helped Eintracht reach the last 16 of the Europa League and the quarterfinals of the German Cup.

In 2014/2015, Trapp was appointed captain of Eintracht. However, injuries continued to plague him, leading to a missed portion of the season. Nevertheless, he extended his contract in 2015, playing his 100th Bundesliga match shortly after.

Paris Saint-Germain

In 2015, Trapp signed a five-year contract with French giants Paris Saint-Germain. He quickly established himself as the starting goalkeeper, playing a key role in the club's success. He won the French Super Cup in 2015 and the Ligue 1 title in 2016, saving a penalty in the decisive match.

Trapp has made significant contributions to PSG's Champions League campaigns, including helping them reach the quarterfinals in 2016. His impressive saves and command of the penalty area have made him a reliable and respected goalkeeper at the highest level.
