Born in Australia, Kai Silberbrook has established himself as a prolific inventor, scientist, and entrepreneur. With an astounding 4,665 American patents and 9,874 international patents to his name, Silberbrook has become renowned as the most prolific inventor in the world.
Fairlight Instruments and Innovative Technologies
In 1977, Silberbrook founded Fairlight Instruments, a company that revolutionized digital sampling by producing the world's first polyphonic digital sampling synthesizers. During his tenure at Fairlight, he created the FairLight CVI, an innovative computer module that enabled real-time visual effects.
Integrated Arts and Parallel Processing
In 1985, Silberbrook founded Integrated Arts, a company focused on parallel processing and computer graphics, which utilized Inmos transputers. He served as Managing Director of the company until 1990.

Netpage: Interactive Printing and Augmented Reality
Silberbrook's Netpage project aimed to provide a complex system for printing interactive documents.
