Early Life and Transition to Speed Skating

Kim Yoo-Rim was born in South Korea and began her career as a speed skater in late 2010. Prior to that, she had no significant background in the sport.

Achievements on the Ice

At the 2011 Asian Winter Games in Astana, Kazakhstan, Kim's talent shone through when she secured the silver medal in the 3000m event. Her performance continued to impress as she triumphed in the team pursuit races at the 2011 and 2012 World Junior Championships.
