Acting Career

Although Kimberley had not received any formal acting training at that time, she successfully acted in the series for eighteen months. After the show ended, she obtained a job on the program 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' and later became a co-host of the popular Seven Networks project 'Gladiators'. Following two seasons of 'Gladiators', Kimberley wanted to pursue her acting career and quickly secured the role of villainess Joanne Brennan in the series 'Home and Away', which she played from 1995 to 1996.

In 1999, she moved to the United States to study acting at the Atlantic Theater Company in New York. Kimberley spent the next eighteen months in Los Angeles, attending auditions and trying to find roles. After a period of struggle, she landed the role of Jo Ellison in the British television series 'Cold Feet' in 2001. She successfully portrayed this character during the fourth and fifth seasons of the show before returning to Australia two days after filming the final episode with her involvement.

Continued Success and Activism

In 2004, Kimberley gained a significant recurring role as Dr. Grace Connelly in six episodes of the Australian soap opera 'All Saints'. She then returned to the United States, where she was cast as a flight attendant in the pilot episode of the popular science fiction series 'Lost'. Although her character was initially intended to be a minor role, the producers were impressed with Kimberley and brought her back for the second and third seasons. Her character, Cindy Chandler, survived the plane crash and became part of the group of survivors from the tail section.

During this time, Kimberley also became actively involved in charity work. She participated in a campaign to raise awareness about Soviet nuclear tests in Kazakhstan and even directed a short film on the subject. In 2003, she visited the area of the alleged tests with Scottish delegate Struan Stevenson and photographed several victims of radiation exposure. In 2008, she returned to Kazakhstan to shoot a thirteen-minute documentary called 'When the Dust Settles'.

Kimberley currently lives and works in Los Angeles, continuing her acting career and contributing to various charitable causes.
