Kiyou Shimizu, a Japanese karateka, has achieved remarkable success in the women's kata division. Her journey began in 2014 when she represented Japan at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, where she won the gold medal. A month later, she became a world champion in this discipline at the 2014 World Karate Championships in Bremen, Germany.
