Biography of Klaus Chucher

Klaus Chucher was born on July 8, 1967. In 1993, he graduated from the University of St. Gallen with a degree in finance and law. From 1996, he worked as the deputy director of the Tax Administration of Liechtenstein. In the same year, he obtained a doctoral degree in economics. From 2002 to 2004, he pursued additional education in international business law. Starting in 2005, he served as the deputy prime minister of the principality until he became the prime minister in March 2009.

As of March 25, 2009, Klaus Chucher became the prime minister of the principality of Liechtenstein. With a strong background in law and finance, Klaus deals with the complex issues surrounding the existence of the state.
