Early Life and Education

Dr. Konstantinos Balabanov was born in Ukraine as a Greek national. He began his academic journey at Donetsk State University in 1982, rising through the ranks from assistant to associate professor.

Academic Career

In 1992, Dr. Balabanov became the rector of the Mariupol Humanitarian Institute, which later became the Mariupol State Humanitarian University in 2004. He has authored over 100 scientific publications, specializing in international relations, interstate cooperation, and European integration.

Honors and Awards

Dr. Balabanov has been bestowed with numerous awards, including:
Order of Merit, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees
Order of Glory and Honor (Greece)
