Krisna 'Kris' Dim was born in 1973 in Cambodia. When he was four years old, his family moved to Arlington, Virginia, and when Kris was 12, they relocated to Sacramento, California. From a young age, Kris was interested in football, but at the age of 15, he became fascinated with bodybuilding. In 1997, Dim gained recognition at the national level by finishing 6th in the NPC USA Championships. This was his ticket to the world of professionals, and Kris started training. Little did he know, he would face ten challenging attempts to establish himself in the professional bodybuilding world. However, he never gave up and continued to strive for success. In 2004, Kris Dim finally received an invitation to participate in the prestigious Mr. Olympia competition. He finished in 12th place, but it was a promising start as Kris dreamed of victory.

In the same year, he placed 3rd at the San Francisco Pro Invitational, but in 2005, he failed at the Mr. Olympia competition. Continuing his training, he finished 4th in the 2006 Ironman Pro Invitational and took 10th place in the 2006 San Francisco Pro Invitational. Unfortunately, 2007 became a fateful year for Kris Dim. On June 8, 2007, he suffered a severe heart attack. The doctors' prognosis was bleak, but Kris fought back. However, his chances of walking again were even slimmer. After the operation, Kris was paralyzed, and doctors gave him only a 0.03% chance of standing on his own two feet again. Kris, however, had different predictions. He confidently stated, "I am 100% sure that I will walk again." He turned out to be right.

Gradually, step by step, he started to move again, and by the summer of 2013, it was announced that Kris Dim was able to move around a bit without a wheelchair. Today, no one dares to make pessimistic predictions about Kris Dim because he has already proven that the power of the human spirit can work miracles. However, behind these "miracles" lies pain, immense hard work, and tears of defeat.
