Biography of Krissy Carlson
Krissy Carlson was born on August 10, 1979, in Covina, California, to parents Jen and Robert Carlson. She grew up in La Verne with her older sister Jenny and brother Tim. From a young age, Krissy's tall stature allowed her to pursue modeling gigs, which she successfully balanced with her education at the Catholic School of St. Lucy for Girls.

After graduating from high school in 1996, Krissy enrolled at California State University, Northridge. During her time at university, she played for the local basketball team and became a member of the support group for the "Anaheim Angels."

Acting Career
In 1997, Krissy became interested in acting and started attending acting classes. That same year, she auditioned for the popular youth series "Beverly Hills, 90210" by director Aaron Spelling but did not pass the casting due to her young age, according to the director.

However, directors Rick Bennetts and Scott Riggs invited Krissy to audition for one of the lead roles in the series "Sunset Beach" where she played the daughter of wealthy parents with a difficult personality. Originally intended for only a few episodes, Krissy's performance impressed everyone, and she remained in the series throughout all seasons. The show also featured Timothy Adams, Sean Batten, Sam Behrens, and others.
In 1997, Krissy made a guest appearance in the popular fantasy series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." The show ran for seven seasons in the US and gained immense popularity among viewers. Additionally, Krissy appeared in the series "Quiet Palms" and "Step by Step."
Krissy's first role in a feature film came in the drama film "Nowhere to Go" directed by John Caire. She starred alongside Trisha Vessi, John Shee, Carroll Baker, and others. In the same year, director Steve Cohen cast her in his film "Devil in the Flesh." However, the film performed poorly at the box office, earning just over half a million dollars.
Among Krissy's other works are the series "Passion" and "Faculty." In 2000, she was cast in the MTV series "Undressed: The Casting Couch," but her role was so insignificant that she was not even credited.
In 2002, Krissy and her parents participated in the reality show "Meet My Folks." Her most recent project to date is her role in the low-budget horror film "Masked: The Rise of Leslie Vernon" directed by Scott Glosserman, released in 2005.
