Kyle Korver is an American basketball player currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is renowned for his exceptional three-point shooting, ranking among the top 10 in NBA history for career three-pointers made.

Early Career and NBA Draft

Kyle Korver was selected in the second round (51st overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets and subsequently traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2007, Korver was traded to the Utah Jazz for Gordan Giricek.

Rise to Prominence

In 2010, Korver became a free agent and signed a three-year contract with the Chicago Bulls. It was during his time with the Bulls that Korver established himself as an elite three-point shooter.

NBA Record for Consecutive Games with Three-Point Field Goals Made

Korver holds the former NBA record for the most consecutive games (127) in which he made at least one three-point shot, surpassing Dana Barros' previous record of 89 games. His streak began on November 4, 2012, and ended on March 5, 2014, when he failed to connect on any of his five three-point attempts against the Portland Trail Blazers. During the streak, Korver made 337 three-pointers, averaging 2.65 per game.

Later Career

After his stint with the Bulls, Korver played for the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Milwaukee Bucks before returning to the Cavaliers in 2022. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous accolades, including the Joe Dumars Trophy in 2015 for his outstanding sportsmanship on the court.
