Biography of Kyle Lowder

Kyle Brandon Lowder, an American actor, was born in 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He is the eldest of three sons of Susan and Craig Lowder. The family later moved to Pleasantville, New York, where Kyle completed his schooling.

Athletic and Artistic Pursuits

Kyle was athletic and showed excellent results in sports. He participated in track and field and played quarterback for the football team. However, he was also drawn to the arts. At the age of 14, he began taking vocal lessons and delved into the study of music theory. Within four years, he started participating in concerts and vocal competitions, showcasing his musical talents, particularly in opera. On his final year of high school, the talented young man was accepted into the prestigious All-State Choir in New York, which consisted of the top 280 voices.

From University to Hollywood

Kyle later became a student at Syracuse University but left in 2000 to pursue a career in Los Angeles as a television actor. Upon arriving in LA, he also began working as a model for 'Abercrombie & Fitch'. In August 2000, he made his debut on the popular soap opera 'Days of Our Lives' as Brady Black. This role earned him an Emmy award and a Soap Opera Digest award in 2003. The show became a breakthrough for Kyle and brought him fame, which coincided perfectly with his musical aspirations as he soon performed the national anthem at baseball games.

Following his success on 'Days of Our Lives', Kyle joined the cast of the soap opera 'The Bold and the Beautiful' in 2007, where he continues to portray the character of Rick Forrester.
