Lada Kasinets' early life remains shrouded in mystery, with little known about her parents or childhood. She was born February 5, 1993, in Kyiv, Ukraine, alongside her younger brother, Oleg, who has since become a popular dancer on YouTube. Lada's mother fondly recalls her daughter's unwavering passion for dance, while Oleg's artistic abilities emerged at an early age. Together, the siblings performed impromptu dance numbers for their parents, with their mother designing their costumes. Lada credits her brother's sharp, assertive movements with complementing her own softer, more fluid style.
Dance Journey
Lada's determination was evident from a young age, despite a leg injury that she bravely overcame. She joined a dance group and endured rigorous training under a strict instructor. Despite receiving unknown grades in school, she pursued a seemingly unrelated path by enrolling in the Economics faculty of Kyiv University after graduating high school.
However, Lada's heart lay in dance. Inspired by Alexander Bobik, she immersed herself in classes, progressing rapidly and gaining recognition as an individual talent. Her career flourished, leading to performances in the large-scale project "Maidanse" with Denys Stulnykov. Lada became a teacher at Dance Centre Myway and frequently traveled to the United States for professional development, marveling at the innate dance abilities of her American counterparts.
The Path to "Dances"
Lada's exceptional talent caught the eye of Tony Zara, who personalized dance moves for each member of his troupe. Rehearsals extended into the wee hours, but Lada embraced the challenges, finding strength and inspiration in the experience. She also joined APACHE CREW, founded by Ukrainian dance champion Anatoliy Sachivko, and the conceptual group GANG.
Her appearance in Season 4 of "Dances" was the culmination of her years of dedication. Lada's performance at the Ufa casting wowed the judges, earning her a place on Miguel's team alongside talented contestants like Yulia Kosmina, Alena Fox, and Ilya Prelin. She also showcased her versatility in music videos for artists such as Monatik, Jamala, and Tina Karol.
Personal Life, Social Presence, and Legacy
Lada's positive spirit and unwavering support for her dance community extend beyond her on-screen presence. She serves as a judge, offering constructive criticism to fellow dancers. While rumors circulate about a potential romantic partner, Lada's personal life remains largely private.
