Árpád Halmay

Árpád Halmay was a Hungarian track and field athlete who competed in the high jump. He won a bronze medal at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris.

1900 Summer Olympics

At the 1900 Games, Halmay jumped 1.78 meters, finishing third and winning a silver medal. He also competed in the standing high jump, but did not place.

1904 Summer Olympics

Four years later, at the 1904 Olympics in St. Louis, Halmay finished fourth in the high jump and fifth in the standing high jump.

Intercalated Games

In addition to his Olympic appearances, Halmay also competed at the 1906 Intercalated Games in Athens, where he won a silver medal in the high jump.
