Early Life and EducationLara Jean Chorostecki is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Freddie Lounds in the television series "Hannibal." She was born into a family with a bank employee father and a French teacher mother. Chorostecki has Polish and Scottish roots and also has a brother. Her interest in acting began at the age of eight when she saw the musical "Les Misérables." For several years, she performed at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Chorostecki became the youngest actress accepted into the Birmingham Conservatory in Stratford, Ontario and also obtained a degree in classical acting from the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England.
