Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Birth and FamilyLarisa Petrosian was born in Telavi, Georgia, to an Armenian-Georgian family. Her mother, Matiko, is Georgian, while her father, Suren, is Armenian who grew up in Georgia. Larisa has a sister, Shorena, who is a stylist and makeup artist.
Childhood Education and Musical Involvement
Larisa spent the first 20 years of her life in Novocheboksarsk, Russia. She attended Novocheboksarsk School No. 17 from 1998 to 2008. Her passion for music began at a young age when she started singing at 10 and participating in musical competitions at 14.
Musical Pursuits
Vocal CompetitionsLarisa participated in the "New Wave" contest and various music projects in Ukraine organized by Russian producers Valeriy Meladze and Filipp Kirkorov. In 2007, she competed in the "Kamerttosha" Children's Pop Song Contest and the "Open Europe" International Festival of Music and Art.
"Voice of Georgia" and Modeling
Larisa later became a model for the Russian modeling agency Volga Models. She also participated in the Georgian version of "The Voice" with her vocal teacher, Vyacheslav Tyulkanov.
Return to Georgia and Solo Career
Return to TbilisiLarisa returned to Georgia in 2015 and currently resides in Tbilisi. She writes her own songs and has released four albums.
Education and Other Pursuits
Larisa is a student at the Novocheboksarsk branch of the Moscow State University of Applied Biotechnology (MSUBP). In addition to her musical career, she is also involved in charity work.
