Early Career
Lorraine's acting career began in 1975 when she made her first appearance on television screens as a cast member of NBC's comedy show, which aired on Saturday evenings. In 1978, Lorraine had her first serious role in the film "American Wax" directed by Floyd Matraks. The movie also starred Tim McIntire, Fran Drescher, and Jay Leno.
Breakthrough
In 1980, Lorraine showcased her comedic abilities in the comedy film "All About Moses," where she played the lead role alongside Dudley Moore. The film grossed over $14 million in the United States.
