Biography of Larisa Savankova
Russian and Estonian actress of theater and cinema, and educator, Larisa Savankova was born on August 12, 1965, in the city of Penza. She successfully completed her education at the Voronezh State Institute of Arts in 1987. After graduating from the theater institute, Larisa was offered to join the Russian Theater of Estonia, although she had dreamed of working in St. Petersburg. However, fate had other plans, and she ended up in Tallinn. Since 1987, Larisa has been an actress at the Russian Drama Theater in Estonia.

Theater Career
Throughout her acting career, Larisa has performed in several notable theater productions. She portrayed Lady Windermere in Oscar Wilde's play "Lady Windermere's Fan" and played Eliza Doolittle in "Pygmalion." She also portrayed Nastasya Filippovna in Fyodor Dostoevsky's "The Idiot." Her participation has been recognized in other works such as "These Free Butterflies" (Gersh-Dzhil), Anton Chekhov's "Ivanov" (Anna-Sarra), "Dangerous Liaisons" (Marquise de Merteuil), "The Naked Truth" (Anna-Dorothea Tierbush), "Happy Weekdays" (Anetta), "A Date in June" (Natalya Stepanovna Chubukova), "Dancing at the Harvest Festival" (Agnes), Henrik Ibsen's "Ghosts" (Mrs. Alving), Alexander Sokolov's "Faryaev's Fantasies" (Alexandra), "Frederic, or the Boulevard of Crimes" (Mademoiselle Georges), and Alexander Volodin's "5 Evenings" (Tamara).
In 1998, Larisa also became an actress at the TheaterDom in St. Petersburg, where she successfully played roles in productions such as "Old Maid" by N. Ptushkina, "Two Others" by Averchenko, and "Marusya, Maria Nikolaevna, Evdokia Stepanovna."

For her significant contribution to the development of Russian theater art in Estonia, Larisa was honored with the "Blagovest" personal award in 2009. She also gained attention as a fashion model in the advertising industry in Italy and had successful dance performances in Finland, Switzerland, and Italy. Larisa shared her experience by teaching at the "Fuete" ballet school and the "Paula" model school.

Larisa's film career started in 1992 when she appeared in the movie "You're Such a Witch..." Her talent was later recognized in films such as "Russian Friend," "Kelk-Smuggler," and "Georg." However, her true fame came in 2009 with the release of the melodrama "A Word to a Woman," where she portrayed the deceived wife Valentina Kalashnikova.
