Early Life and EducationLarissa Mick, a former beauty queen and model, was born on August 29, 1978, in St. Louis, Missouri. At the age of two, Larissa was diagnosed with asthma, which prevented her from participating in sports due to frequent attacks. As a result, she developed a passion for art and excelled in the field throughout her high school years.

Pageant Success
In 1996, Larissa Mick won the 'Miss Missouri Teen' competition and subsequently enrolled in the Art Institute of Chicago to study 3D animation. However, the prize money she received from the pageant only covered her first year of tuition. In 1997, she participated in the 'Miss Teen' beauty pageant held in South Padre Island, Texas. While she did not win the competition, Larissa earned an encouraging prize, placing eleventh out of fifteen contestants.

Missouri Beauty Queen
In 2001, Larissa Mick competed for the title of 'Miss Missouri' and emerged victorious, earning the coveted crown. At the time, she was working as a 3D animator in an advertising agency in St. Louis. However, after winning the pageant, she was let go from her job. The following year, Larissa represented Missouri in the national 'Miss America' competition. She made it to the semifinals after a long and intense competition. Larissa won two rounds of the competition, showcasing her excellence in swimwear and evening gown, receiving the highest scores of 9.45 and 9.39 respectively. This secured her first place. However, she struggled with nerves during the talent and interview rounds, earning the lowest scores of 8.02. As a result, Larissa dropped to fourth place, disappointing many of her fans who believed she could have won the crown and become the new 'Miss America'.
Television and Career
In 2003, Larissa Mick appeared on television as a guest star in the reality show 'Average Joe: Hawaii', replacing Milena Sketlin, a former 'Miss Missouri'. Milena was Larissa's main competitor in the 'Miss Missouri' competition in 2001. Currently, Larissa is an established artist and web designer. Since 2006, she has been working at 'Agencynet' in Florida and was promoted to the position of Creative Director in 2008. In 2009, Larissa relocated to Los Angeles but continues to work for 'Agencynet'.
