Biography of Nikki Taylor
Nikki Taylor, born Nicole Taylor, is an American model who achieved success at a young age. She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Ken Taylor, a sheriff's deputy, and Barbara Taylor, a photographer. Nikki grew up in Pembroke Pines, Florida, where she attended school. She has an older sister named Joelle and a younger sister named Christine, who was also a model but tragically passed away at the age of seventeen from arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia in 1995.

At the age of thirteen, Nikki signed a contract with Irene Marie Models, a studio based in South Florida. It was here that she met photographer Jean Renard, who later became her manager. Shortly after, Nikki won the "Fresh Faces" competition in New York and earned a $500,000 contract with a modeling agency.

Nikki's modeling career took off when she appeared on the cover of Seventeen magazine at the age of fourteen in August 1989. By the age of fifteen, she had graced the cover of Vogue magazine, becoming the youngest model ever to do so. However, it is worth noting that this record actually belongs to Brooke Shields, who achieved the feat in February 1980 at the age of fourteen.

In 1991, Nikki was included in People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" list, featuring her in an orange swimsuit with long green gloves. The following year, she became the first model to sign a major contract with CoverGirl before turning eighteen, becoming a prominent figure in their advertising campaigns. She also worked with renowned labels such as Liz Claiborne, Nokia, Ellen Tracy, L'Oréal, GAP, Lee Jeans, Rampage, and Pantene.

Nikki gained even more recognition when she appeared on the covers of six major American fashion and fitness magazines in May 1996, earning the nickname "The Nikki Six." She also appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 1997, 1998, and 1999. Throughout her career, Nikki has appeared on hundreds of different magazine covers.
In addition to her modeling career, Nikki tried her hand at launching her own clothing line, but it was unfortunately discontinued after only a few products. She also made a cameo appearance in Keith Urban's music video for the song "Somebody Like You" in 2002.
Nikki's personal life has also been the subject of media attention. She secretly dated Keith Urban from 2002 to 2004. In June 2005, she opened clothing stores named "Abbie and Jesse's" in Franklin, Tennessee, in honor of her dogs.
After completing high school, Nikki met former Miami Hooters player Matt Martinez. They got married in January 1994 in Las Vegas and had a more traditional ceremony in July of the same year when Nikki was already four months pregnant. However, they divorced in 1996.
In October 2006, Nikki got engaged to NASCAR driver Burney Lamar. They got married on December 27, 2006, in California and requested that wedding gifts be donated to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, a camp for terminally ill children. Nikki and Burney have one daughter together, SiL Taylor Lamar.
Nikki Taylor's career and personal life have made her a prominent figure in the modeling industry, and she continues to be admired for her beauty and success.
