The Formation of U2

In the mid-1970s, Larry Mullen started thinking about forming his own band. He soon placed an advertisement in the newspaper, calling talented musicians to join his group. In 1976, the band "U2," which was initially named "Larry Mullen's Band," was formed, consisting of seven rather capable musicians. The band was later renamed "Feedback" and then finally settled on the name "U2." The current lineup of the band includes four talented performers - Paul David Hewson, David Howell Evans, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen. Interestingly, Larry is not only a virtuoso drummer but also plays synthesizer. Although he has confessed that he never liked this musical instrument and only plays the keys when necessary, several compositions feature Larry's keyboard skills.
