Biography of Lasha Pataraya: Georgian Strongman
Lasha Pataraya, a Georgian strongman, holds the Guinness World Record for moving heavy loads with his ears. Ears are perhaps one of the most vulnerable parts of the human body, as they can freeze in severe cold weather, and mischievous hooligans often pay for their actions with their ears. The traditional birthday celebration ritual also puts the birthday person's ears through a challenging test. For Lasha Pataraya, the list of everyday unpleasant experiences is multiplied as he uses his ears to move multi-ton vehicles.

A Unique Talent
The phrase "I will beat you with a left hand" is familiar to many, and it seems that Lasha Pataraya is capable of defeating most opponents with just his left ear. Pataraya is not the first "ear" heavy athlete to be recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records. Previously, a Chinese man held the record for lifting 52.5 kilograms with his ears and holding the weight for 19.9 seconds. However, Pataraya surpassed his Chinese counterpart multiple times.

Breaking Guinness Records
In October 2003, Lasha managed to move a microbus, weighing 2350 kilograms and tied to his ears with ropes, a distance of 48.6 meters. Pataraya did not want to stop there, as his ears were clearly capable of more. In April 2006, he moved two microbuses, weighing a total of 4500 kilograms, with just his left ear, covering a distance of 41.1 meters. Eighteen months later, Pataraya broke this record by moving a helicopter weighing approximately 7730 kilograms for 26 meters using the same left ear.
In 2007, Lasha Pataraya used his resilient left ear to move an 8-ton truck, weighing 8280 kilograms, for a distance of 21 meters and 50 centimeters. It seems that Pataraya has no intention of stopping at seven records, as he plans to continue training and delight his fans with new achievements in the future.
The Future of Lasha Pataraya
While Pataraya has not yet shared his specific future plans, it remains to be seen what his next target will be. Whether he plans to move suburban trains like Vladimir Turchinsky or not, only time will tell. One thing is certain – Pataraya's ears have a long way to go before they can relax.
