Early Life and Career
Lauren Davis was born on October 9, 1993, in Gates Mills, Ohio, to parents who worked in the medical field. Her father was a doctor in Wisconsin, while her mother was a nurse.
Davis began playing tennis at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of junior tennis. She made her debut at the 2008 US Open, where she was defeated by Alja Tomljanović. In 2009, she reached the quarterfinals of the US Open and won her first Grade 3 tournament in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Professional Debut and Success
