After her parents' divorce, two-year-old Leila moved with her mother to the small town of Sebastopol, California. In school, the shy girl joined a support group and developed a love for sports, participating in various school competitions such as swimming, basketball, volleyball, kickboxing, and more.
The decision to try her hand in the modeling industry came to Leila while she was still in school. She wanted to find an unconventional job that would not attract too much attention.
