Early Career and DebutLevrent Kartop's football journey began at his hometown club, Denizlispor's academy. His debut for the senior team came on August 10, 1996, against Sarıyer.
Loan Stints and Club Transfers
Between 1998 and 2006, Kartop embarked on loan spells at Muglaspor and Nevşehirspor. In 2006, he made the switch to Antalyaspor, playing his first match on August 6th against Rizespor.
International Outing
Brief Stint in AzerbaijanIn 2008, Kartop ventured outside of Turkey to join Azerbaijan Premier League side Neftchi Baku. However, his time there proved brief, as he did not feature in any matches.
Tense Situation and Return to Turkey
Coached by Hans-Jürgen Gede, Neftchi parted ways with Kartop and three other players during the first half of the 2008/09 season. He returned to Turkey, joining Kocaelispor alongside Rashad Sadygov in the winter of 2009.
Subsequent Moves and Contract Extensions
Loan at AltayFor the latter half of 2009, Kartop was loaned out to Altay.
Contract Renewal at Kocaelispor
In January 2010, Kartop renewed his contract with Kocaelispor, extending his tenure for an additional year and a half.
