Linda Emond was born on May 22, 1959, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Her family relocated to Orange County, California, where she spent her childhood and adolescence. With a diverse ancestry including English, Polish, German, and French-Canadian heritage, Linda embraced an active lifestyle in her youth. She excelled in sports, sang in the choir, and performed in school theater. As class president and editor of her high school's sports yearbook, she honed her leadership and communication skills. In 1982, Linda graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts.
