Lisa Lampanelli, an American stand-up comedian and actress, is known for her comedy routines that often touch on topics such as homosexuality and racism. She was born Lisa Lampugnale in 1961 in Trumbull, Connecticut, to a middle-class family of Italian and Polish descent. Her mother worked in the police force, while her father initially worked at Sikorsky Aircraft before becoming an artist.
