Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes was a blues singer and member of the popular R&B group TLC. She gained fame in the early 1990s, when the Russian MTV channel introduced her to a young audience. Alongside her bandmates, Lisa entertained the audience with their high-tech outfits and catchy songs. Their hit songs "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty" from their 1999 album "FanMail" won a Grammy award.

Despite her success with TLC, Lisa also had a notable solo career. She is best known for her rap verse in the international hit "Never Been the Same Again" by former Spice Girl, Mel C. Lisa also faced controversies throughout her life, including burning down her boyfriend Andre Rison's house in 1994. She paid a fine and was put on probation for this incident.
